Olivia Cambridge, Networx3 UAV’s latest commercial drone pilot, has been putting the latest drone in the fleet through its paces in the Netherlands.
Olivia, who qualified after an 18-month training programme and on-the-job mentoring at Networx3 UAV, recently spent time at Acecore Technologies headquarters in the Netherlands learning to fly the Acecore Zoe 8 UAV.
The Zoe has been added to the fleet at Networx3 UAV because of its long flying time, exceptional camera quality and weather proofness.
Although Zoe is lightweight it carries a state of the art Sony A7/4 camera and a thermal imaging camera on board.
Olivia said: “I really enjoyed the training – which covered everything from getting Zoe out of the box, taking off, flying, filming and landing safely. The camera quality is amazing and will be great for surveying work and anything that needs a cinematic quality to it.
“Zoe flew really well and gives a really different flying experience as a pilot. I think Zoe will prove invaluable in a lot of the property, inspection and surveying work that we do at Networx3 UAV.”
